SOHAR Port online gate pass for easy access to the port

The most distinct feature of this website was real-time Online Gate Pass system. It was aimed at port visitors and suppliers mainly, which were in thousands on daily basis.

Online application process was made effortless. Visitors would simply upload the required documents along with a picture, and would receive an email notification upon approval. The visitors would simply print the PDF gate pass with barcode printed on it for verification, and head to the security gate where an online scanner would do the verification to grant the access. It was such a timesaving luxury back in 2012, and still is.

This solution was cost-saving and quicker to implement as compared to other readymade and expensive solutions.
